In the presentation of the revision of Budget 2016, Prime Minister had announced a reduction of employees’ monthly statutory contribution rate for Employees Provident Fund (EPF) “from 11% to 8% for members below age 60” and “from 5.5% to 4% for those age 60 and above”, the above changes will take effect for salary payments from March 2016 until December 2017.
However, employees can opt to maintain the current contribution rate of 11% by completing the “Notis Pilihan Mencarum Melebihi Kadar Berkanun (KWSP 17A Khas 2016)” and to submit to their respective employers, who will then forward it to the nearest EPF branch. The KWSP 17A need to be submitted before 29.2.2016. You may refer to Q15 for the due date.
Employees and employers can download the Notis KWSP 17A Khas 2016 from EPF’s website.The new monthly contribution rate (Schedule Three) can be downloaded here.
There is no change to the employers’ statutory contribution rates.

首相拿督斯里纳吉在2016年调整财政预算案中宣布，2016年3月至2017年12月的薪金，雇员公积金缴纳额將降低3%，即从11%降至8%，至于60岁及以上雇员的缴纳率是从5.5%调低至4%。

請注意雇主12%的缴纳额则保持不变。
